FIRST, I SWITCHED TO BLOGGER IN BETA! WOO HOO!
A while back on my old blog I posted a list of things I wanted on April 11, 2006. Check it out here.
Anyway, here is my 'Official End-of-Year Update' for my list:
1. Loose Weight
To date I've lost 35 pounds and I'm still going. I have exactly 47 more pounds until I hit my goal, hopefuly by April 2007 I will be 20 or more pounds closer.
2. Finish my Associates Degree
I graduate May 9, 2007. The graduation paperwork has been filled out and submitted. I'm signed up for my last classes and I've been accepted to the college where I will get my Bachelors Degree.
3. Repaint my Hallway
I'm doing this over Christmas break! Woo hoo!
4. Finish my Bathroom
I'm also doing this over Christmas break. They're both small areas so it shouldn't take much time at all.
5. Re-Arrange my Bedroom and LEAVE it for more then 2 months!
Mission Accomplished. However, I am getting a new comforter for Christmas so my bedroom will have to be repainted to match the new colors. I love decorating so I'm excited!
6. Let GO of my Flaws!
I've done really good with this one. Especially when it comes to realtionships/men. I've learned that if you can't accept me for who I am, you don't deserve me.
7. Get out of this "relationship"
Done! I'm so happy with Duncan, I can't imagine going backwards into a hurtful relationship. Being happy is the greatest feeling, I never want to come off this cloud.
8. Pay off My Debts
I'm getting closer. This, of course, is a slow process- but hopefuly income tax money will help out this year.
9. Organize my life & my surroundings better
I've done fabulous with this one. I'm going online to purchase my 2007 planner today! I'm pretty good at keeping my calendar on my comptuer at work, plus I have a desk pad calendar and I write everything I need to remember on a white board that hangs on my fridge.
10. Re-evaluate My Choices
Obviously, with Duncan in my life you can tell this has been accomplished.
I'm very happy about my progress on this list. I was telling my Mom this morning that I was finally feeling good about the direction my life was taking. I have a great man in my life, a wonderful family, I'm getting my degree, I've lost a good bit of weight, and I've got more self esteem then I ever dreamed of. Things are looking up!
I had a great night with Duncan last night. I won't get to see him tonight because I have school, but there is always Thursday. :)
Happy Hump Day!
