The 'Cats Out of The Bag'. Michael called at 11 last night, of course I was asleep. He was talking all sweet to me like he didn't think there was anything wrong with the fact that he has not called me in days. I got straight to the point.
Me: "I have to tell you something and I don't want you getting mad".
Him: "Go ahead."
Me: "I'm seeing someone and he treats me how I deserve to be treated. I've finally realized I deserve better, so we're done."
Him: "Okay, who are you seeing?"
Me: "You know."
Him: "Duncan?"
Then, he let out a chuckle and said "I've assumed this was going to happen." I cut him off right there and told him goodnight. I laid in bed for a few minutes thinking about what was said, and the only disappointment was that I didn't tell him that he deserved this, but I think he knows.
My mind was racing 100 miles an hour all night, so I didn't get much sleep. I've been wide awake since 4:30 this morning, but I forced myself to lay in bed until 5:30. I got up almost a whole hour early and now I'm blogging before dawn. Amazing!
Last night was the first night I spent without seeing Duncan in a while. Of course, I know we can't spend every day together, but I was getting used to it. Yesterday was like detox. Ha ha. He did call me last night while I was visiting our friends Tiffanie and Brian. We talked for a little bit about this coming weekend, our plans, and how our days were at work. It's so nice to have someone to talk to on the phone who is genuinely interested in how your day went!
No big plans tonight. The town I live in is having it's 150th Anniversary celebration, along with the Christmas Parade. The town my Mom lives in is also having the Christmas Parade. I've got Weight Watchers until 6:30, then I'm stopping on the way home to grab pizza and we're going to make it a lazy night in. :)
Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!
