This is the weekend of Karrie's wedding shower here in the south. Her parents and her sister are coming down to surprise her. She has no idea, I'm so excited to see the look on her face. We haven't told Scott because he sucks at keeping a secret.
I took a vacation day today to clean house and get things ready for tomorrow. I have Diesel (Scott and Karrie's Boston Terrier puppy) here with me today, he's my shadow. He's adorable, he follows me everywhere I go. 
I've washed every piece of dirty laundry, dried it and put it away. I've made the bed (which he's laying in above) and vacuumed the floors. I'm getting ready to go and buy her shower present, then run some errands and grab a few things I need for tomorrow.

I've just been reading back in your archives about Josh. SD's cousin also has lung cancer (among the other places it has metasticized to) and I know that heartache of watching it take it's course.
I'm sorry you have to go through this and wish Josh well in his journey...there's just no good way to end that sentence, right? (sigh)
