Quickie

Ok, quick recap of the last weeks events.....

Karrie's Bridal Shower was last Saturday. She got some stuff she needed and she had a great time!
John Deere Cake Squares to go with the John Deere theme!

The Bachelorette Party was Saturday night. That's the most fun I have had in a long, long time.

Me and the girls!

Sunday was an incredibly lazy day. We napped, watched the race (with one eye open) and napped some more.

Work is busy as usual and it even made for a pretty quick week. Scott and Karrie left for PA tonight, they're going to get their marriage license tomorrow! :) Only 30 something days until the big day! :)

I haven't heard from Josh in weeks. I'm trying to be patient. A lady I work with occasionally asks me about him and she has really been my saving grace. She has a son that has been permanently in a wheelchair since birth. She knows what its like dealing with the unknown, the unruly, and all the emotions that go with it. I'm hoping Scott and Karrie see him this weekend while their up, Karrie will tell me how he looks, etc. TKW stopped by this week and left me a nice comment about Josh. THANK YOU, you made me smile. It is very nice to know that "strangers" such as yourself care enough to leave a comment. (I said "strangers" because I read her blog all the time, I feel like I know her!)

No big, exiting plans for this weekend. My boss is having a dinner party at his house on Saturday night so I'm going to venture over there, then I'm going to hang out with a girl that I worked with all summer who is taking the fall off to work on her doctorates (I miss her, she was my gossip queen at work). Sunday is going to be much like last Sunday, lazy!

We've had quite the heat wave here in the last week with 100+ temperatures everyday. Hopefully it lets up a little this weekend so I can get out of the house and wash my car or something!

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! :)
A

Looks like you had a great time - you must be sticking with the WW - as you are lookin' great!

I keep Josh in my thoughts and prayers, keep hoping that you'll post that he has started treatment, or has a better prognosis.
