Friday afternoon I had an eye doctor appointment. It went well, except for my eyes got worse so I had to get new glasses that I have to now wear all the friggin' time. Boo! After getting home from the eye doctor I rode around on my motorcycle for a little bit, then went home to take a shower to go out for the evening. Me, Sean, Chad, RJ and April all went to SoGo's Japanese restaurant for Hibachi steak, chicken and shrimp. It was really good! The boys had a bit to much to drink, but they were hilarious. They had me laughing soooo hard. April, who is RJ's girlfriend is only 16 and a bit immature for me. She got mad at him for drinking too much and acting like a fool. It was all in good fun though, he didn't hurt anyone and he wasn't being obnoxious. I had to drive them all home in Sean's new Denali, so I wasn't complaining. In her immaturity, she complained because I was old enough to drink but didn't because Sean asked me to be the designated driver. She really wanted to drive home, but like I said- Sean's Denali is a $50,000 + vehicle and it's brand new. She was mad about that, mad because Sean wouldn't let her ride up front, and mad because RJ was drunk. I didn't let her bad mood ruin my night, and neither did the guys. When we got back to Sean and Chad's house she hopped in her car and burned tires out of there. She hasn't really talked to me much more this weekend, but I asked Sean if he thought she had a reason to be mad at me and they were all in agreement that I was not at fault for anything.
Saturday was a sleepy day. I was supposed to go on a live, controlled burn for the fire department, but I didn't stay awake long enough to go. After getting home around 1 am and getting up at 7:30, I fell back asleep around 8 and didn't get back up until 11:30. I was supposed to be at the firehouse by 9. Instead, Karrie and I rode to the mall to pick up my glasses, and headed back home to get some stuff done around the house. I washed my car and rode over to Sean's parents house where he was putting a ceiling in their new sun room. After he was done there we went back to his house and we washed the Denali and RJ's truck. It was so pretty out, I didn't want to sit in the house all night. After all the vehicles were washed we headed to the liquor store. We bought a $60 bottle of Patron, which is awesome! We ended up staying at their house all night, hanging out and drinking. Around 4:30 in the morning I started getting text messages from Michael who needed a ride. Being the good friend I am, I went and picked him up and dropped my friend Emily off at her house.
I didn't get home and in the bed until 6:30 in the morning, then I had to get up at 9:30 to take Michael home and take Emily to get her car. I was back home and in bed again at 11 and I slept until 3. I was sooo lazy yesterday. In my laziness I got my last online test for Biology complete, now I just have to take the final one night after work and I'll be done for the semester! :)
Clean Car
I don't have any big plans for this week. Of course, I'm planning on laying in the tanning bed (aka Fake Baking) every night this week to get this tan to optimal darkness. Emily and I rented Borat last night, but I think we're going to wait for Sean to watch it, and he's out of town for work until Tuesday evening. Then, on Tuesday night the fire company is having training and we're learning how to cut a car apart to extract a patient! :)
