Today- I am random!

I'm being random today. I don't really have much to blog about, however- it is time for a post.

I guess I should start off by telling you about my weekend. We didn't end up going to the movies on Saturday night, but rather to the mall for some shopping. It was fun! We ran through the mall with 10 minutes to closing so Duncan could find a new hat. He got it with a minute to go. On Sunday we went to a different mall shopping with his Mom. Needless to say, I'm all shopped out....but I think we're going back this weekend. :) I love a man that likes to shop.

I've been keeping up with my television shows this week, which has been keeping me away from blogging. Sorry! Monday it was Prison Break and What about Brian, which was awesome! Then on Tuesday it was American Idol and House, and on Wednesday it was American Idol again. I watched the end of The OC last night, but I wasn't home in time to watch the whole thing.

Wednesday was an interesting night. I got to Duncan's when he asked me to be there, around 6:30. We were sitting in the living room watching TV and the phone rang. I heard him talking to whomever was on the phone and he said "Yeah, but Ashley's here. Alright, bye." When he got off the phone he told me it was Michael. Yippee! I think he's testing me to see how I acted around Michael. It was fine with me, I was anxious to see how he was going to act around Michael. When Michael got there, the only open spot to sit in the living room was on the couch next to me. He's not shy so he just sat down. We were all talking, getting along just fine. I got up to use the restroom and when I came back, Duncan was sitting in my spot. It seemed to me like he didn't want me sitting near Michael. At 9 when American Idol came on we retreated to Duncan's bedroom and Michael took the clue and went home. Duncan didn't act any different, and it was nice. If it was the other way around, Michael would act like I didn't exist, but Duncan is the opposite.

Thursday was a snow day. Everything was closed, except for Duncan's work. He called me at 9 am yesterday to tell me how bored he was. I got up, dressed in my warmest clothes, heated up the car and scraped the windows and headed for his work. We went to lunch together and he brought up going back to the mall this weekend. I asked him what he needed, but he wouldn't say. Last time this happened, we came home with a promise ring. Should I be scared? Ha ha. Pam and I highlighted my hair yesterday. It took us 2 hours, she foiled it with red and blond highlights. I like it a lot. Then, I had a fire meeting at 7, and I was supposed to be at Duncan's around 8, but I didn't leave the fire meeting until 8:30. I ended up calling him when I pulled in the driveway because no lights were on and he just came out on the porch to smoke a cigarette and see me for a minute.

We're going to a pizza place for dinner with Scott and Karrie tonight. It's real New York style pizza, which is hard to find in the south. Then we're going to pick their washing machine up. Exciting for a Friday night, huh? We're shopping on Saturday, seems to be our weekly event, then on Sunday we're watching the Super Bowl! :) GO CHICAGO!

It's been a pretty productive day at work today. I turned in both my assignments for my online Biology class. Of course, I've done things that are actually related to my job, but its another slow Friday.

I did my taxes on Monday night and I'm getting enough back to buy a new mattress for my bed, and possibly tires for my car.
