Success!

Yesterday was quite a good day, despite dealing with insurance companies most of the day.

I filed a claim online with my insurance company when I got home on Sunday night. They called me on Monday morning. As expected, they told me that the other insurance company would have to handle it since it wasn't my fault. In the meantime, Michael (yes, you read that right) rode with me to get a repair estimate done to see just how much damage was done. The estimate was a little less then $1,000. Duncan's moms insurance company called me around 1:30 and got all my information, they called back at 4:30 and told me I needed to go get an estimate. Luckily, I already had it. I called the body shop and they faxed it to her insurance company. I called today to be sure they got the estimate and they said a check would be mailed in 2-3 business days. Yippee! I'm glad this is almost over with.

Back to the Michael topic. We're fine....hanging out with him is like hanging out with an old friend. It's kinda neat how it doesn't bother me!

I went to dinner with Scott and Karrie last night, then headed to Duncans to watch Prison Break. We're supposed to watch House and American Idol together tonight, but I'm not counting on it. He was in a bad mood yesterday, and I know he had a hard day at work (everyone called in sick, he was the only one there), and he has a pretty bad head cold. I might just go home and crawl into bed early myself.

I've got a lot of cleaning/packing/paper writing to do before I go to Pennsylvania this weekend...blah!
