Today was busy, yesterday was busy....darn- this weekend was busy!
The birthday party was fun last night. Lots of good southern home cooking that my Future SIL is not accustomed to. It was an early get together, so we were gone by 8. We (Me, Scott, Karrie) went to the local home improvement store. They bought a new riding lawn mower, and looked around for more stuff for their house. Then we went to Wal-Mart and they bought fabric so I could make them curtains and a bunch of other stuff for their house. We got back to their house around 10 and after putting everything away it was 11 and I was ready for bed so I headed home.
They got me up early this morning, along with Pam and Corey. We went back to the home improvement store to get a vanity and sink top for their bathroom, and then to breakfast. After breakfast, Karrie and I headed back to my house to get my sewing machine and my laundry. I told them I would sew the curtains, but I had to have use of their washing machine while I was doing it, I don't have a maid to do all this laundry that I have!
We spent the whole day at their house cleaning, sewing, and just hanging out. It was a nice, quiet day. Karrie and I belong to the local fire department and we were dispatched to a structure fire, assist around 1 pm. We were gone for about an hour, then I jumped right back on the sewing machine. I got one set of curtains almost finished, and I helped Karrie make a big dent in their spare room. They've almost got everything unpacked.
We saw Duncan this morning pulling out of Wal-Mart by himself. Of course, he didn't know it was us because we were in my rental car. Thank goodness. I haven't seen him in 2 weeks and talked to him in almost a week. It's hard because I just want to call him and see how he's doing, but I think it's better if I wait for him to open up the lines of communication.
Time got away from Karrie and I today, so we didn't get to tan. However, we've both decided that we want to loose 20 lbs. by Bike Week in May, so we're going to start going to the tanning bed, then walking 2 miles every night after work with the exception of Thursdays because I have Weight Watchers. Hopefully this exercise routine will help me shed the remaining 38 lbs. I have left until goal. I've already lost 45 lbs, so 38 shouldn't be too hard to loose. I'm ready!
I've been home since 6, and I've already got quite a bit accomplished. I washed a load of towels, washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen and the living room. These floors still need to be swept and mopped, and we won't get into the dusting....it's a mess. I've got to start devoting more time to keeping this house clean and less time worrying about men! Ha ha.
I've got 1 more load of wash to do, then I'm going to put all my clothes away, take an online test for biology, then take a hot bath and crawl into bed. Ahhh. I can't wait!
Hope you all have a good week. I have to drop my car off at the body shop tomorrow morning before work. I'm a little nervous about leaving it, as you all know - my car is my only child.

I think the 2 miles per day would really kick things up for you!
