T-Minus 6 Days and Counting....

It's crazy to think that next week this time most of us will be celebrating Christmas! I'm ready, with the exception of wrapping the rest of Duncan's presents, and Mom's presents. I've got to do a last minute spot check/once over on the apartment Saturday. Frankly, I didn't get anything done at home this weekend.

Karrie (Scott's girlfriend) was here on Friday around 3:30. I was off work early but had run by Duncan's Moms work to pick up some pictures, then ran home to do more laundry and I re-arranged my room again. I headed back to my parents house around 4 and hung out there until it was time to go to Duncan's house. Me, Duncan, his Mom, Scott and Karrie all went to dinner then the three of us, minus Scott and Karrie went Christmas shopping at the local mall. We didn't get home until late and I slept in as late as I could on Saturday morning. Scott, Karrie and I drove the thirty miles into Charlotte to get their Panthers tickets for Sundays game. (It was a sad loss to Pittsburgh). We did a little more shopping, ate some lunch, then we went to the jewelry store and Karrie picked out her engagement ring. They bought it, but he hasn't gave it to her yet, I'm sure he will surprise her on one knee sometime this week. I'm excited for them.

Duncan and I had 'Date Night' on Saturday night. We went to dinner, the to see the new Will Smith movie 'Pursuit of Happyness', which was a great movie. We were home and in bed sometime around Midnight. Sunday I finished my Christmas shopping for Duncan while he did his for me. We met up around dinner time last night when he finally got home. I'm not sure what he got me for Christmas, but I was asked my ring size by 5 different people. I think I might be getting a promise ring! :)

On that note, I should tell you that I'm totally excited about Christmas and my birthday. I'm officially counting down the days! 11 to my birthday, 6 to Christmas! :)

I'm going to go online today and try to find a recipe for something yummy to make for dinner. Christmas dinner is my specialty, but I'm lost as to what I should make this year. I usually do Italian food because it's my favorite and it's easy. My apartment is little and there are always 7-9 people there for dinner on Christmas. I know Scott and Karrie won't be because they're going to spend Christmas with her family. That brings the count to 7 so far.

Of course, it's boring as usual at work today. I only have to work 4 days this week, then I'm off until January 2nd! I'm going to make the best of my time by reading blogs, the news, re-doing my MySpace page, and designing Birthday invitations for a friend. Exciting....

Have a good one,
Ashley
