Weekend in a Nutshell

What a weekend!

Friday night after work we went to dinner for a friends birthday. It was my whole family, the friend, her husband and L. We went to a great Italian restaurant and had a really good time. It was the first time I've really brought L around my family and friends in a public setting where he had to interact with them. Everyone seemed to really like him, my brother already knew him so that made it comfortable for him, that he knew someone other than me. L has been around for quite awhile, but I've never really brought him out with me or had him around my family. They know of him, they just don't know him. After dinner L came over and we hung out and watched movies. M called several times and tried to get me to go out with him and his friends. I had to finally put my cellphone on silent. Even though I'm friends with both L and M, L gets irritated and defensive if I talk to M while I'm with him.

On Saturday I went to lunch with M and his mom, then I did some shopping with my Mom and my sister in law. I got 2 different colored khaki pants for $6.95 a pair from a pretty good name brand store, some jeans, 10 different colored tanks to wear under button down shirts, and a cute shirt to wear with my jeans for under $100. I love a good bargain. I had to work on Saturday night, and after work L went with me to grab some fast food for dinner. On the way, I got a flat tire - thank goodness he was with me! I got brand new tires 10 days ago and I got a flat. There is a hole in the side of my tire, I need to call the tire store this morning and get a new tire ordered. Blah!

On Sunday I was super lazy. I slept until Noon and laid around the house. I worked job #2 Sunday night, then did some grocery shopping and came home and went to bed. I talked to M and we made plans to go to the drag strip on Wednesday night, it should be a blast.

This week should be pretty stress free. I only have to work job #2 tonight and next Saturday. We're (Me, L and some friends) are going to a Halloween themed amusement park on Friday night, I'm sure it will be a blast.
