Craziness!

Things have been absolutely crazy!

First, I have to start with telling you about my weekend in Pennsylvania with Josh.

I got up bright and early (3:30 am) on Friday to get to the airport. My plane took off on time and we actually landed in Newark, NJ early. I called Josh to let him know I was in Newark and I would call him once I got my connection to their local airport. While on the bus riding to the local airport, I fell asleep. When I woke up we were about 10 - 15 miles away and I had several missed calls. One was Josh, he was there and it was 10:30 am. I was supposed to arrive at 11:15 am and he wanted to let me know that he was waiting for me. Our bus arrived a little early and when I came down the escalator with my bag, he was standing there waiting for me with the biggest smile on his face.

We ran errands for his business most of the day Friday. He recently had a mini stroke so he has to watch his level of activity so he doesn't over do it. He was getting pretty tired by the time we got back to his house on Friday night so he decided he'd rather stay in. I hadn't had dinner so he gave me the honor of taking his brand new vehicle (Duramax) and going out with some mutual friends. I had the best time, but it was a bit uncomfortable. We went to dinner, then bowling. At the bowling alley, the lane we were assigned was right next to his most recent ex-girlfriend which is my brothers fiance's sister. We're friends, but it's obvious that she doesn't like the situation between Josh and I. Her new boyfriend used to be Josh's best friend, but isn't now because of obvious reasons. About an hour into bowling, another one of Josh's ex girlfriends shows up and they bowl in the lane across from us. It was just a clutter of ex girlfriends, then there was me. Of course, they were all questioning why his vehicle was in the parking lot and he wasn't anywhere to be found. I had to give in and tell them I was driving it. Then the questions came pouring in....where is he? How did you get here from NC? Where are you staying? Yes....I answered them all truthfully.

On Saturday we made a trip to NJ with one of Josh's friends to pick up a birthday present for his little boy. It was a Grave Digger Power Wheels. That thing was COOL! We spent most of the day outside pressure washing vehicles, cleaning up, and enjoying the nice weather. We went back to his house around 8 to take showers and go out, but instead we decided to spend the night in watching movies and laying around. It was nice and relaxing.

On Sunday we slept in, then went for breakfast, ran some errands, visited his brother and his family, and before you know it we were on our way to the airport. We ate at a really nice steakhouse right by the airport before he dropped me off. Of course, I cried like a baby when he left.

We had a good heart-to-heart on Saturday night which put a lot of things into perspective for both of us. Now that I'm home, I don't know what road our friendship will take, but I can't imagine it being anything but good.

Yesterday was a lazy day at work. I was so tired from flying in so late. Duncan called me for the first time in weeks. Michael's little sister ran her mouth to him about me and he was calling to confirm some information. We made plans to see each other, he wants to see my new car. Of course, he never showed up when he said he was going to. He called again this morning and said he got tied up at work late and he couldn't call. We made plans again for tonight, so we'll see if he shows.

This week is Spring Break for the students at work. It's been pretty slow around here, it's nice and quiet. I don't even have to dress nice since nobody's here to see it!

I'm going to start moving my stuff tomorrow night. First it's the bedroom furniture. :)

I leave you with a picture of Josh and I. I'll post some pictures of the new car one of these days....
