Come back down to earth....

This has been a great week. In fact, everyday that I leave work with definate plans for the evening, it's a great day. I was getting so tired of sitting at home with nothing to do a majority of the time, and now- things are looking up. I'm almost scared to tell you how great things are going right now, for fear of messing up my good luck.

I will tell you that Micahel and I are not together. We see eachother on occasion, but I definatley do not go out of the way to see him and he the same. When we are together, we get along well and enjoy our time. He just started yet another job this week, so I know he is very tired because he's not used to working such long days. We talked everyday for the last 2 weeks with the exception of the weekend, which is not acceptable to me - that is, if we were together. I did talk to him last night (which was a weekend evening, Friday), for almost an hour. It was nice.

However, my weekends have been filled with hanging out with great friends and doing lots of homework- they almost don't seem long enough.

Friday, Duncan and I went to Courtney's sisters house to grill out with her sister, her sisters husband, her Mom, and then of course, Me, Duncan and Courtney. Another guy and his girlfriend were there, but I don't know them very well. They had good steaks, and I ate grilled chicken. It was yummy! Then, we played UNO Attack, which is the coolest game ever! I'm going to Wal*Mart today to buy it!

Tonight I'm planning on cooking some mexican food and "throwing a few back" (aka- drink). Duncan and I always have lots of fun. Pam and Corey are coming, as well as my brother, and possibly another couple. I didn't really want to invite a whole lot of people, so hopefuly I won't have such a mess to clean up in the morning.

I've got a few loads of laundry to do today, wash my sheets and my curtains, (I hate dust), cleaning the ceiling fans (yuck), grocery shopping, cleaning my nasty car, and eventually- finish decorating my house for christmas and make a dent in the rest of my Statistics homework.

Yes, I'm getting ready for Christmas. I don't have anything to decorate with for Thankgiving, so I'm moving right on from Halloween to Christmas!

Hope everyone has a great weekend, I know I will!

Ashley

You decorated for Christmas already? Girl - we have got to get you some Thanskgiving decorations.

We got the kids their own trees to decorate and put in their rooms this year - they can't wait to get them up, but I won't let them until after Thanksgiving!
